Wooden houses are not common in our area, so I am lucky that the tenant of the house contacted me to furnish this house. The atmosphere of such a house is fascinating: you can feel the warmth and naturalness emanating from its walls.

For both the ground floor and the first floor I chose simple Scandinavian furniture and brightly coloured accessories – all to fit the style of the house. The open-plan kitchen is the heart of the house, a real family living space. The walls made of logs, and the fire (of the fireplace) indeed bring the feeling of nature into the house.

The first floor belongs to the children. Besides the large sleeping area, there is plenty of space for them to play, build a nook and draw. I bought colourful containers to hide the millions of toys into them, and I created a gallery from the children’s works of art.
